Dunn To Succeed Anand As Firestone Fibers & Textiles Company, LLC President

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 17, 2010) - Firestone Diversified Products, LLC (FSDP) today announced that Tim Dunn, most recently Project Manager, New Business Development for Bridgestone Australia, has accepted the position of President, Firestone Fibers & Textiles Company, LLC (FSFT), effective April 1, 2010. He will succeed Jaggy Anand, who has elected to retire after 40 years with Bridgestone Americas and Firestone companies.

"Jaggy is an important part of our team, and he has had a great career," said Ken Weaver, Chairman, CEO and President of FSDP, the parent company of FSFT. "He has served FSFT well, leading the company for 18 years as President. We will certainly miss him."
Anand joined the Bridgestone Americas family in 1970 as an industrial engineer at the company’s tire facility in Bloomington, Ill. He was promoted to Industrial Engineering Manager in 1974. In 1983, Anand accepted the title of Plant Production Manager for the consumer tire facility in Albany, Ga. When the Albany plant closed in 1986, Jaggy joined the FSFT plant in Gastonia, N.C., as Plant Manufacturing Engineering Manager. He was promoted to Gastonia Plant Manager in 1988 and named President of FSFT in 1992. Anand and his wife, Nancy, plan to remain in Gastonia, N.C., during retirement.

Dunn assumes his new role as FSFT President after having previously held several positions within the Bridgestone Americas family of companies. Dunn was hired as Northeast Territory Manager for the company’s consumer tire organization in 1986. In 1992, Dunn was promoted to Northeast Regional Marketing Manager, and in 1993 he was named Northeast Regional General Manager for the Bridgestone Firestone consumer replacement tire business. In 2002, Tim relocated to Nashville, Tenn., to accept the role of Operations Manager for consumer replacement tire sales. He was promoted to Director, North American Consumer Replacement Tire National Marketing & Supply Chain Management in 2006, and to Executive Director, North American Consumer Replacement Tire Marketing, in 2008. Last year, Tim accepted an international assignment as Project Manager for New Business Development – Retail with Bridgestone Australia.

Dunn holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Bucknell University. As President of FSFT, Dunn will report directly to Weaver.
