Bridgestone Americas Off Road and Agricultural Tire Divisions Announce Price Increases
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 3, 2011) - Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) has announced price increases in two of its divisions that will go into effect in the next two months.
The Off Road Tire, U.S. & Canada Commercial Tire Sales division (BAOR), has announced plans to increase prices by 12 percent with some in-line adjustments. The price increases will affect all mining, construction and industrial tires marketed by BAOR. The price increases are scheduled to begin March 1, 2011.
The Agricultural Tire, U.S. & Canada Commercial Tire Sales division (BAAG), has announced a four percent price increase on Firestone branded agricultural, construction and forestry tires; Bridgestone branded garden tires; and Regency branded tires sold in the United States and Canada replacement markets. The new pricing will be effective April 1, 2011.
