Firestone-brand Tires Are Standard, Optional Original Equipment On The All-new 2011 Chrysler 300 Sedan

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 10, 2011) - Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) is pleased to announce that its Firestone-brand FR710 tire is standard original equipment on the all-new 2011 Chrysler 300 Limited and 300C luxury sedans. The Firestone Firehawk GT will be optional original equipment for the same models.

BATO will supply the highly refined Chrysler flagship sedans with specially designed and engineered FR710 all-season performance tires in size P225/60R18 99T. When equipped with the optional Touring-tuned suspension, the 2011 Chrysler 300 Limited and 300C models feature wider 245/45R20 99V Firestone-brand Firehawk GT all-season performance tires that help contribute to the sedan’s world-class handling.

“The Chrysler 300 series sedans combine luxury and performance from a long-standing, iconic brand. The Firestone brand has a reputation in its own right of being a top performance tire,” said Michael Martini, President, Original Equipment, U.S. and Canada Consumer Tire Sales Division, BATO. “We are proud to be providing the critical connection to the road for these new world-class sedans and believe that both tires will fully complement the luxurious driving experience that Chrysler has created in the all-new 300 models.”

The Firestone-brand FR710 is a T-speed rated, all-season performance tire. The Firestone Firehawk GT is a V-speed rated, all-season, sporty performance tire. Both are engineered with the company’s exclusive UNI-T™ technology that delivers performance attributes such as practical all-season traction capability. The Firehawk GT also features an advanced technology called Veri-Pitch that minimizes pattern and road noises often found in performance tires.

The all-new 2011 Chrysler 300 Sedan is now arriving in showrooms.
