NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 2, 2015) – Bridgestone Commercial, a division of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO), today announced a new head of marketing for the commercial tire division. As Vice President, Commercial Tire Division, BATO, Marshall Hyzdu takes the reigns leading marketing initiatives for OTR and commercial truck and bus tire products, including Bridgestone, Firestone, Bandag and Dayton brands.

Hyzdu has an extensive background in marketing for global brands, including Valvoline and Kraft Foods. Hyzdu led global product strategy for Valvoline. At Kraft for more than six years, Hyzdu led brand management for several of the company’s brands, including Kraft Singles, Breakstone’s, Knudsen, Polly-O, Athenos and more. Additionally, Hyzdu was an analyst at UBS Investment Bank and a brand manager at Vector Marketing Corp.
Hyzdu earned a Master of Business Administration from the Michigan (Ross) Business School in Ann Arbor, MI and an undergraduate degree in history and psychology from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH where he played football.
