Bridgestone Recognized as One of World’s Most Reputable Companies2015 Global RepTrack 100 Survey Places Bridgestone 28 among Global Leaders

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 4, 2015) – Bridgestone Corporation, the world’s largest tire and rubber company, has been named a top corporation for its reputation among consumers. Bridgestone jumped three spots to 28 from 31 in 2014 and is the only Middle Tennessee corporation recognized by the survey.

The Global RepTrak 100 study, published yearly in Forbes Magazine, measures the reputation of the 100 most highly regarded companies across 15 countries. The survey is conducted by interviewing more than 61,000 consumers.  

Bridgestone Americas, Inc., a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, was most recently recognized with the 2015 Corporate Citizen Award by the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry.  Earlier this year the corporation announced the construction of a new +$200 million high-rise in downtown Nashville. The new headquarters will house 1,700 employees when construction is finished in 2017.
